Limits Error

When trying to send money you encountered an error because you have reached a limit set by your bank. This limit may be related to daily transaction amounts, transfer limits, or spending limits.

Error Message:
Oops! We can’t process this transaction amount. Please go to your bank account and change your account limits before retrying.

How do I resolve this error?

Adjust the relevant limit in your mobile banking app. The specific steps for doing this will vary depending on your bank. However, the general process is as follows:

1. Open your mobile banking app and log in to your account.
2. Navigate to the "Limits" or "Settings" section of the app.
3. Locate the specific limit that you need to adjust (e.g., daily withdrawal limit, daily transfer limit, spending limit).
4. Increase the limit to a level that will allow you to complete the transaction you are trying to make.
5. Save your changes.

How to Adjust Transaction Limits

  • 1. Login to your BPI Mobile Banking App.
  • 2. Tap on the "More" icon.
  • 3. Select "General Settings" from the menu.
  • 4. Tap on the "Customize limits" button.
  • 5. Enter the new limit amount for “Load e-wallet, prepaid phone and utilities using other apps”.
  • 6. Tap on "Save"

  • If you are unable to adjust your limits through your mobile banking app, you may need to contact your bank directly.
  • Some banks may have restrictions on how often you can adjust your limits.
